Gale Worth was a former Kentucky Public Television producer. His productions ranged from biographies of famous people such as Daniel Boone to a documentary exploring the challenges of keeping children from dropping out of school, which was nominated for a National Emmy. Gales’ outdoor series “Roughing It” has been broadcast in over fifty countries.

Before embarking on a twenty-two year pubic television career, Gale earned a B.S. in Forestry from the University of Kentucky and was employed as a Forester by the U.S. Forest Service.

Gale Worth died in 2005 at the age of 59.
